Record numbers of voters have already cast ballots across California and many more will do so before polls close on Tuesday night. Ballots have been returned to county election offices by mail, through drop boxes and with direct voting at polling locations.
As of Monday morning, the state’s 22 million registered voters have returned 11.2 million ballots, according to tracking information from Political Data Inc.
